Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 April 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how fone4table, Inc. ("fone4table", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, fone4table, Inc. is the controller of personal information collected through the Services, unless we state otherwise (for example, where we process information solely on behalf of a customer as a processor).

We may collect: (a) identity and contact data (such as name, email address, phone number, and business details you provide); (b) account and technical data (such as login identifiers, device and browser type, IP address, and approximate location derived from IP); (c) usage data (such as pages viewed, features used, and interactions with the Services); (d) communications you send us (such as support messages and form submissions); and (e) payment-related data processed by our payment providers (we do not store full payment card numbers).

If you are a guest of a restaurant using fone4table, we may process information provided by the restaurant or collected through the booking flow (which may include party size, reservation time, and dietary notes if provided).

We use personal information to provide, maintain, and improve the Services; create and administer accounts; process transactions; provide customer support; send service-related notices; monitor and help secure the Services; comply with law; and enforce our terms and policies.

Where permitted by law, we may also use information in aggregated or de-identified form that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Where GDPR or equivalent laws apply, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract; legitimate interests (such as securing our Services, improving features, and preventing abuse), where not overridden by your rights; consent where required; and legal obligation.

We may share personal information with service providers who assist us (for example, hosting, analytics, communications, payment processing, and security providers), subject to appropriate contractual safeguards.

We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of fone4table, our users, or the public. We may also share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, consistent with applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information as the term “sell” is commonly understood for privacy law purposes.

We may process information in countries other than the one in which you reside. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms recognised by applicable law.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes such as security, dispute resolution, and compliance with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and our relationship with you.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and/or to data portability. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing before withdrawal).

We and our partners may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve user experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice as required by law.
